In My Second Year of Blogging and A Birthday Wish

A week form now, this cyber space of mine is turning two years already. I still can’t believe that I was able to sustain it considering the responsibilities I have. But because the main reason of why this blog has came to existence is also the very reason why I want to keep it going until the time my kids are able to read each post. They are the prime reason why I want to write, this little nook of mine serves as a written memory that when the time comes my memory doesn’t serve me well, I will be able to look back and read it. I also want to share a portion my life experiences I have as a mother and homemaker and hopefully to serve as an inspiration to you. After all, sharing is caring right?

On the same day, it will also be my birthday. As much as I want to feel the vibe of youth, I have to accept the fact that I am getting older. Well, I guess I have to live with the saying, “age is just a number” right? Anyhow, this year, I don’t intend to celebrate the day in a grandiose way.  I only want to make memories with the people close to me in a simple way. In fact, I only have two wishes for my birthday. It may sound boring and cliché but I am happy with it.


I wish to be healthy and also my family. I can’t allow getting them sick and worse to nurse sick kids. I also wish Boboy good health because he is the most tenacious person when it comes to seeking medical attention. I remember a radio dj said, when men get sick they won’t be able to function anymore but if women is weak and feeble, we can still clean the house and function as a normal person. Fellow mommies do you agree?

I also wish bliss in the following years. I have some unhappy thoughts that I want to unburden myself. This year, I hope I can find happiness in everything amidst trials and motherhood woes. I don’t wish for any material thing, as it is only a temporary source of happiness (no gifts to open nor flowers to display). I just want to create happy memories that I will cherish a lifetime.
