Enjoy the latest deals this Christmas on BDO Pay

'Tis the season to be shopping to avoid the Christmas rush! Thanks to the convenience of shopping totally cashless and cardless through the BDO Pay app, shopping for Christmas gifts will have a different kind of rush, not the frenetic kind. BDO Pay, through its Scan to Pay feature, minimizes the hassle in paying for transactions by linking the shopper’s BDO Savings Account, Checking Account or Credit Card with the mobile app. This eliminates the need for 'loading up' their e-wallet account and spending for transfer fees, making purchases faster, easier, and more secure. Family Weeked at Ninoy Aquino Wildlife Park

“We go zoo and see ammals (animals) Mama?” These are the rare moments when Dodo urges us to take them out and discover nature with their innocent minds. How can I say no to it? Since we already went to Manila Zoo and our plan was really to spend our afternoon walking in UP Campus, we decided to take them to Ninoy Aquino Wildlife Park, which is along the way.

I have to admit it was my first time there and it gave me a shock of a lifetime. I am just surprised that aspiring models and photographers are everywhere. It’s like 30 steps away from each other most especially in the lagoon area. The place was crowded with models and photographers. But I love seeing Filipino families value time they spend for their family. It is very heart warming.

Anyway, seeing the kids’ inquisitiveness makes me want to bring them more to places like these. They learn few things outside of their comfort zone. They had fun in every stop watching every fowl in their ginormous cages.

I also allowed them to be carefree and let them be kids by getting dirty without the worry of catching harmful bacteria. Dodo asks a lot of questions as we go along the way while A touches every bit of small flower from the grass she sees. The presence of stray cats makes her giggle and so with other animals.

By 4:30pm we went to UP Campus to continue the weekend adventure. We had to treat them a little dose of energy so they have something to burn later on. After having their ice cream, we went to a vacant lot. I started blowing bubbles and asked them to pop it one by one. The genuine happiness I see in their faces was totally priceless. They were cheerfully running around trying to pop each bubble and of course a little stumble in between but I couldn't care less. They have to experience what it is to be a carefree kid.

Before heading home, we stopped by our newfound book thrift shop in Maginhawa Street and scored few books and a collectible toy for Dodo.

I hope to share more of our weekend adventure as a family. What is your favorite weekend activity? Share yours.
