My Switch To Menstrual Cups

Image
Some few years ago, three years to be exact, I have already made up my mind to try to make a switch from my regular menstrual pads to menstrual cups. I remembered having to ask my friend from Canada if she could bring home a Diva cup because it wasn’t widely available from stores yet. At least that was I knew back then. Year after that, I got pregnant with my youngest and the switch has been put off until the fifth month after I gave birth to him. I had horrible nightmare using disposables which caused me sleepless nights. It was when I was forced to order online a brand which unfortunately wasn’t the correct size. I decided to get one instead at Mamaway store in EDSA Shangri-la in the hopes that the brand I was eyeing was available in store. But instead, I got a different brand which is the Me Luna and I have never been so happy that I really made a switch. Honestly, I also had a lot of what ifs and buts about this whole change. But then again, I have decided already and here...

When my youngest turned three months, his distinct baby smell vanished. You know the best smell there is are baby's right? I'm sure mommies will agree with me on this.  So I thought, I would just use products which will somehow give him distinct smell and bring back those baby smell of his just like his ate which I enjoyed until she was two years old. But no, he is really different. So I had to accept that fact. When I joined a mommy group, they were raving about this body wash which they claim to have long lasting scent and smells really good. Well, if most of the mommies has good claims about it, I know I must try it too. So I ordered it from the groupbuy and got it after weeks and immediately tried it. Lo and behold, what most of the mommies claims were true!  So let me tell five reasons why you should give this product a try. 1. Local Product. Cloth Diaper Review: Quigle Bum

Image
In my almost ten months of our exclusive cloth diapering journey, I've tried several brands already. Mostly are local and international brands and thankfully everything worked well with us. This will be a series of posts of different brands that I will share with you. Hopefully, I could write my reviews on all the brands so you can have idea on what to expect from a certain brand based on my honest review. Quigle Bum is a brand that is most sought after most of the mommies because of its performance. It is owned by a Filipina mom and nappies are manufactured in China. I was lucky enough to get a hold of at least a few pieces of it when I started our cloth diaper journey. I got  it preloved from one of the mommies in our group. The nappy brand is always sold out in their website and because of the demand, buying them takes longer than usual. Now, I understand the craze and will tell you the reasons why. Snap Down Rise setting. Among the One Size nappies I have tr...

Casually Neat featuring Tatler Tods

Image
When my kids are growing, I rarely buy them clothes because alot of brands are already in the market and more often, it's either I do not like the fit, style and fabric. If I will purchase a certain clothing brand, I make sure that every cent is worth it. After all, money doesn't grow on trees.  I am a mom of three and nannyless so my only option for shopping is thru online. Well, if only big malls offers online shopping services then I would be very happy! There are certain occasions where I look for tasteful clothes and our only resort is to go to the mall but still, there are few selections.  Tatlertods is an online shop wherein they sell elegant shirts for boys. They have it in two designs as of the moment and what is good about it is that they have guide for measurement which is important in selling clothes online. Makes transactions hassle free. What is nice about their shirt is the clean workmanship of their clothes. It fits my son perfectly.  ...

Althea Korea Philippines Shopping

Image
Let me tell you a secret, I am too lazy to take care of my skin. So I am really not fond of skin care products because either I am too lazy or I just don’t feel the need of doing so. But last year, was the major transformation in my life. During the whole nine months of my pregnancy, I had this very bad dry skin on my face. Too bad that it was so painful already and I thought it was the end of it all! Where in fact all I needed to do was give it its much-needed attention. So the journey to my skin care begins. The start of the year was pretty good in fact; I gave myself a pat on the back for finishing some of the products, which is sitting on my stash for a long time already. Then when everyone was into Korean beauty products and skin care, I didn’t pay much attention until I saw a certain product from a vlogger who swears by it. A company has recently launched their site and made it open to the public, which is the Althea Korea. Their site offer skin care and beauty products...

TSM Review: Physiogel Cleanser

Image
While waiting for my due, I already made a checklist of the things needed at the hospital for my baby and me. Because this is the third time I will give birth, I have to make sure that I have everything with me and I find it no justice that third time around there will be lapses still. Included in the checklist are also the brands that I need to consider given the fact that I had several bad experiences before of the products the hospital used for my babies. I already stacked up on cloth diapers, soap and all other newborn essentials. This time, I have to make sure that my baby will use gentle baby soap. My two children had very bad allergies because the soap th at was used to bathe them from the hospital caused them redness all over the body. So in their early life, I had to give them medicines already. I gave the nurses at nursery Physiogel cleanser to be used for my baby. I am glad that I made that decision because my son was rash free during his first two ...

Review: Celeteque Facial Moisturizer

Image
When I got pregnant with my baby boy, my face was extremely dry and it was aggravated by our travel when we went to Sagada. During the nine months of pregnancy, I didn't bother on putting on something since I was too lazy to even cook let alone do my skin care routine. I love skin care products and in fact, I have different brands on my stash but honestly, sometimes I am just too exhausted to even think about taking care of myself. I was wrong. It worsened a week after I gave birth to my little boy. It was extremely painful and even bugged my mom to visit our derma. But lo and behold, all I ever needed was a precious moisturizer. Admittedly, I stopped using them eversince I became a SAHM, to sum it up I think it was already 5 years since the last time I put on some.  She gave me initially Cetaphil dermablend mositurizer. It was good until I was out. So I looked for it all over the drugstores but it wasn't available in our place. I had to resort to what I used back when I was in...

Dermclinic's Nushape Review and a Giveaway

Image
It has been a struggle losing and maintaining weight three years after I have given birth with the little girl. Losing was quite easy but maintaining it was the hardest. There were a lot of ways I tried in order for me to lose weight and at least achieve that pre-pregnant body but truth be told none of which was a success. There are a lot of wellness centers and gyms that promises good results but none of which I have tried yet. If I have yet to try a wellness clinic, which promises maintenance of weight the non-invasive way then it is plus factor for me. Until I was given a chance to try out Dermclinic’s Nushape service, I was led to believe that there are few other ways to lose weight the non-invasive way. So how was my experience so far? I must say, it is highly recommended! What is Nushape? It is a non-invasive way to shed off excess fats using the process of low frequency ultrasound to shed off excess fats and burn them. It is an easy, safe and effective way of toning those arms, ...
