Enjoy the latest deals this Christmas on BDO Pay

'Tis the season to be shopping to avoid the Christmas rush! Thanks to the convenience of shopping totally cashless and cardless through the BDO Pay app, shopping for Christmas gifts will have a different kind of rush, not the frenetic kind. BDO Pay, through its Scan to Pay feature, minimizes the hassle in paying for transactions by linking the shopper’s BDO Savings Account, Checking Account or Credit Card with the mobile app. This eliminates the need for 'loading up' their e-wallet account and spending for transfer fees, making purchases faster, easier, and more secure. Mixing and matching to get the latest deals  Aside from the convenience of cashless and cardless shopping, BDO Pay lets shoppers enjoy BDO Deals on the app, allowing them to take advantage of exclusive promos, rewards, and rebates available for their cards and accounts.  For example, shoppers can use BDO Pay to charge their groceries to their bank account; and then charge to their credit card to treat their ...

Why I Love PSBank's Prepaid Mastercard

"Live within your means."

My mom would always say this to me eversince I can remember. So when I started working, I tried it so hard to live within my paycheck and then peer pressure happened. Next thing I knew, I had a credit card approved despite earning a minimum wage salary back then. Then I was already swiping off my card here and there and the next thing was I was already paying monthly dues of the money I borrowed from the bank.

It was only then when I stopped working and decided to become a stay at home mom when I finally abandoned it because I knew in an instant, I will not be able to sustain paying monthly dues and rest was history.

But then again, circumstances really calls for credit cards for online transactions. But I really wanted something that doesn't have any commitment. So my friend introduced this prepaid card that you will only get to load the needed amount when making purchases. Sounds good right?

So I applied for the account and got the card in less than thirty minutes. In the span of almost six years being with them, I can see a lot of improvements already when it comes to securing your hard earned money.

Admittedly, this is the only time I get to appreciate it even more when I enrolled my account online, which I never thought I could since I do not have any commitment for this one. Anyway, there are key features that I liked about this and they are as follows:

1. Cardless withdrawal. You can withdraw money anytime anywhere even without your card, all you need is your mobile phone, key in few numbers and you are good.

2. Load Telco. I know most of the banks have this but they made it easy to send load to someone only with OTP, no atm verification required. Also, it caters to all networks not just limited to one.

3. Touch ID. Call me naive but again, enrolling touch ID was easy peasy. When I want to check my balance online I will just put my finger on the finger scan and that's it!

4. Account security lock. This is the most important feature I love about them. They can never charge your account of anything despite having money in it when it is LOCKED. Safe also for those that will attempt to make fraud transactions. Just don't forget to lock it every after making online transactions.

5. Email notification. They send email notification abundantly. If you lock, unlock, sent load and almost all kind of transaction online with your account. It is safe since you know and track what you did for your account.

The mobile banking has a lot more feature than those that I have listed here but these are just some of the things I loved about them. Of course, there is online bank money transfer and bill payment still.

If you want to apply one, just go to this link in their website and follow instructions or you may visit their nearest branch to know more.

Do you have an account with them? Let me know your thoughts too in the comment section.
