Celebrate National Pasta Month with Dona Elena Al Dente Pasta

Pasta has been my comfort food and my ever-reliable meal whenever I am too lazy to prepare a three-course meal for the family. But it doesn’t mean that I get to compromise the taste and the quality since it contains all the needed nutrients.

During those days, having spaghetti on the table means we celebrate something special. And we only have one option before, the use of tomato sauce for pasta dishes. But now, we can have it anytime we want and even in the comforts of our homes. We can also play with different ingredients in our kitchen whatever we fancy and whatever depends on our cravings.

But did you know that pasta has which can be considered “al dente” which, means firm to bite is made from durum wheat? Dona Elena Al Dente was made through the artisan way of cooking pasta–slow drying process and not subjected to high heat. It uses special bronze dies which leaves a rough surface that creates ridges on the pasta. These ridges help sauces stick to the pasta better, making every bite simply delicious.
