During the past few weeks, I have been attending events with my two rowdy kids and doing errands in between. This would mean a hideous transportation chronicles with them. But no matter how rowdy they could get, I am still thankful that there can be ways on how my life can be easy with the help of my smartphone. Wanna know why? Read on because I will be sharing with you my experience with Easy Taxi.
- Convenience. Should I expound on this further? I have two kids and hailing a cab for our transport can be a hideous job. There are moments when my kids are so difficult to handle and falling in line in a taxi bay is quite an impossible thing for me to do. So what do I do? Log in to the app and key in our details and they will be right on my coordinates. Easy right?
- Safety. With the horror stories of taxi rides these days you will really opt to be on the safe side. I do ride public transports but now that I have kids I couldn’t risk dragging my children into them. Also, they keep track with your ride. Once they see that the driver hasn't picked up the passenger yet, they would call the driver. There is no room for cancellation of bookings.
- Easy to use. In the event of technology these days, you might want to use them for safety’s sake. Just a few tap on the app you can now have a safe ride to and fro on your destination. What I like about it also is that it is the map they use is close to accuracy with locations and you have an option to tweak on your location. If you think the gps gives you false address you can switch your icon locate for the correct address in the map. There is no need to search on your destination, you will just type in your preferred destination and off you go. Once the app shows that you found yourself a driver, it instantly shows details of your ride (name of the driver, number, type and plate number of the car).
- In-App Messaging. The passenger has on option of sending the driver messages and vice versa should there be clarifications on the pick up point of the passengers. This is a great way for proper communication between the passenger and the driver. No more waiting for calls and no event of cancellation of rides.
But please note though that while they are on their improvement of their application, I however experience mishaps along the way. Unfortunately the app has no ability to be placed on sleep mode yet if you are kind of multi tasking with your apps. Before you are logged out of the app please do take screen shot to at least take note of the details of your ride because once it has been placed on sleep mode you will lose the details. This way, you can stll have communication with your driver.
