BDO bolsters traditional and digital banking services for ease and convenience


BDO Unibank said its 1,200 branches nationwide now have self-service onboarding kiosks, making it easy for clients to open accounts and transact in the branches. Several branches also have a universal machine where clients can do various transactions, including cash and check deposits, fund transfers, pay bills, and update their passbooks.

With the global shift towards digital banking, the Bank recognizes the importance of combining traditional banking services with digital innovation by investing in technology and physical locations to support the clients’ evolving banking needs.


BDO is expanding its physical branch network to ensure clients can access in-person banking services easily. At the same time, it is leveraging technology to enhance its digital banking offerings, which include regular updates on its mobile and online banking platforms with user-friendly options so clients can easily manage their daily finances.


The Bank is also growing its network of ATMs nationwide, enabling clients to make transactions and access their accounts 24/7. BDO currently operates 4,755 ATMs in the country.

Meanwhile, the Bank successfully held the second run of its travel sale offering, “BDO Travel Exclusives”, for its credit card holders. BDO Credit Cardholders of Mastercard, Visa, JCB, UnionPay, Diners Club and BDO-issued American Express Cardmembers availed of discounted roundtrip fares for flights from Manila to Japan, USA, Canada, Europe, and even flights from Cebu to Korea, USA, Canada, and Europe. 


Aside from discounted flights, BDO Credit Cardholders also availed of the Fly Now, Pay Later promo at 0% interest, which they can pay four months later upon booking. 


Participating partner-airlines for this BDO Travel Exclusives were Emirates, Cathay Pacific, EVA Air, Asiana Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Etihad, China Airlines, and United Airlines.
