The weather has been erratic lately. The heat, sweat and neverending shower baths predisposes my kids' skin condition to get dry--that and our family history of Psoriasis. This is the very reason why I never stop looking for products which are gentle and works for my kids' skin. I have tried almost everything in the market and all I can say is that they do not work under the same weather conditions. That is how #OAMom I am.
Honestly, this is the very first time I have tried Aveeno for my kids. I have been hearing good reviews about this especially to those who have Eczema. But since my kids doesn't have it, I never picked it from the grocery stores. It was only when I was sent that I was able to appreciate the goodness it brings to their skin.
Aveeno Baby Wash and Shampoo is a gentle cleansing for body and hair which has natural oat extract. It is also tear-free, paraben-free, prothalate-free which is really safe for your baby's skin. It is recommended by most of pediatricians as well.
The consistency of this product is very thick that lathers moderately. When you lather it to your baby's skin, it leaves this gel like substance that leaves instant mositure to their skin. It is like an in-shower lotion to the babies. I didn't worry also because my kids could wash themselves because it is tear-free. They could see very well which body parts don't have soap yet.
After every bath, my son never fails to apply Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion all over his body. He was able to develop that habit because he tends to shower at least every after diaper change and I am so glad because his skin became supple and moisturized. I will no longer worry about his skin getting flaky especially on his legs where it tends to get dry the most.
This brand really delivers what is advertised. I am so glad that they address the issue of people who have sensitive skin and they don't need derma visit anymore.
If your babies and kids have sensitive skin, eczema and normal to dry skin, this brand is a must try. If it worked with us and so many babies with eczema, I am sure this will work for you too.
