Sinabawang Tuna Chunks With Malunggay

For the past week, I have been under the weather. The sudden change of climate made me suffer

from rhinitis. Even if I am not feeling well, I don't want to compromise how I take care of the kids. That's how we are moms right? We still try our best to take care of the family.

Anyway, because I want to uncomplicate things at home, I made a simple dish which you can whip for only 10 minutes of your time, healthy and delicious. You know very well that my children loves fish and soup so much that they want to eat it every single day of our lives. To make everyone else happy, I added malunggay leaves to boost my milk supply and make my little girl happy as well. Leaves for her is life. HAHA.

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

1 can Tuna Chunks (Gold Seas)
Onion, quartered
Garlic, pounded
Tomato, halved
Malunggay leaves
Kalamansi
Salt to taste

Procedure:

1. Boil 500ml water. Once it is already boiling, add onion, garlic, and tomato.
2. Add tuna chunks, let it boil for one minute.
3. Add malunggay leaves, let it boil for one minute.
4. Add kalamansi and salt to taste.
5. Serve.

You can use other brands of tuna. I prefer this one because the tuna is not shredded. Oh, the one in the photo is dried malunggay leaves. Mom always brings me dried malunggay leaves whenever she visit and I just stock them in the pantry. Her malunggay leaves tastes way better than those that I buy here in the market.

Let me know if you tried this already. Share your thoughts below!
