Enjoy the latest deals this Christmas on BDO Pay

'Tis the season to be shopping to avoid the Christmas rush! Thanks to the convenience of shopping totally cashless and cardless through the BDO Pay app, shopping for Christmas gifts will have a different kind of rush, not the frenetic kind. BDO Pay, through its Scan to Pay feature, minimizes the hassle in paying for transactions by linking the shopper’s BDO Savings Account, Checking Account or Credit Card with the mobile app. This eliminates the need for 'loading up' their e-wallet account and spending for transfer fees, making purchases faster, easier, and more secure. Mixing and matching to get the latest deals  Aside from the convenience of cashless and cardless shopping, BDO Pay lets shoppers enjoy BDO Deals on the app, allowing them to take advantage of exclusive promos, rewards, and rebates available for their cards and accounts.  For example, shoppers can use BDO Pay to charge their groceries to their bank account; and then charge to their credit card to treat their ...

Privato Hotel: More Than Just A Staycation

Last year during our mommy blogger's group's thanksgiving party, I won myself an overnight stay at Privato Hotel which was sponsored by eGetInzz. If you have no idea what eGetInz is, it is booking site wherein you can book accommodations from several cities provinces in the entire Philippines.

So in order for me to get the best excuse to use the free accommodation, I booked it a day before Valentines day for the whole family. I made reservations prior to the date and asked if it can be upgraded to a Deluxe room since we are checking in as a family. Yep, so much for being nannyless, nevertheless, I would rather spend heart's day with the entire troop anyway.

Check in time was 2pm and arrived quite late as usual. Parking is inside the building and has limited availability per floor. And if I am not mistaken, they only have four to five floors for parking and maximum of 5 cars parked per floor.

The staff are friendly, accommodating and courteous. They have a small cafeteria adjacent to the lobby which serves few pastries and coffee. Lobby area has good lighting and a wonderful modern design to it. They have a small function room that can accommodate up to 50 guests for special intimate occasions.

Cafeteria

Our room was upgraded to Double De Luxe which surprisingly was enough for all of us. It has two Queen sized beds and the room for movement is just enough for the kids. It has a nice bathroom which has cold and hot shower. It has also a mini bar with a small fridge to store food.

The best part is that they have a small pool at the roof deck which is children friendly. BUT, during the time we were there, it was too cold and not conducive for swimming at night! The kids only had few minutes for pool and eventually called it a night.

The best part of our stay which we didn't get to experience was a nice date at their restaurant deck because the skyline view is just amazingggg! These are the moments wherein we wish to have someone to take care of our children to get ourselves quality time but just can't. It could've been romantic and brought back the feel of us dating. BUT it was just a big what if for now. This, I highly suggest that you date your significant others there.

Breakfast buffet has quite a selection of food but not that much though compared to buffet restaurants. They also have high chair for babies which I highly appreciate since I have babies in tow all the time. The ambiance is also good since they have high ceilings that make it wide enough and made room for all the natural light.

There is one thing though that we didn't get to do, that we regret we didn't extend our stay there. I hope that when we get back, we get to experience their fine dining with just the two of us.

Overall, I would recommend it to families who wants to spend some time together. It is good for kids who loves water as they have kid friendly pool area. Couples can also spend quality time together in the restaurant because they just have a wonderful view of skyline.
