When I became a SAHM, my social life was limited to online socialization. Quite weird in any sense but, it was how it worked for me for at least for the past 5 years of my life. So I always look forward to holidays where there is existence of other real people. I don't regret though because eventhough I have bunch of hulabaloos everyday of my life, it was and will always be my choice to be with my children and see them grow up.
When I became a member of the mommy bloggers group some three years back, I would always look forward to celebrate a real Christmas party with them. Most of them are like me, a SAHM and blogs for the sake of sanity (LOL) and just vents out their talkativeness in the cyber world. But for the past two years, I wasn't that lucky to join them yet. Because two years is just worth the wait, finally I am able to celebrate social life out of our house and in the real world.
Our Christmas party was held at Pancake House in Quezon City and very intimate with only 20 mommy blogger attendees. Was really lucky to be one of them and I get to know them more. The event's place was designed by (Buzy Bee events) and felt that somehow despite the small space, it was a magical Christmas.
The party started with a long list of assignment. LOL. But kidding aside, I loved what we did because my mind did a lot of work at some point and became creative at least for the 2 hours of the party. Moving on the program, we had to introduce ourselves with each other and at least somehow get to know them a little more as well as socialization.
Pancake house treated us an afternoon of their sumptuous meals. Everybody has a full tummy and I get to take home my kids' favorite pancakes. After eating, we had mini games and everybody was just happy because of the generous sponsors and all the prizes we got.
Everybody was lucky that day and didn't go home empty handed. Almost everyone won a prize. If you are following me on my instagram, you probably knew already that I will be sharing with you another staycation that is sponsored by eGetInnz because I just won their staycation! So yay for that.
