TSM Review: human Heart Nature Diaper Cream

In the span of four months of our journey towards cloth diapering, there were moments where my son experienced diaper rash. But it didn't stop me from this journey because I stand for the benefits it will bring in the long run. You might wonder why will my son have diaper rash when he is exclusively CDing?

There are several factors which causes diaper rash when you are exclusively CDing. All the while I thought it was only due to his chunky legs and diaper that was irritated by garter marks. But because of the group and their continuous sharing of thoughts, it was deeper than that. In our case, it was because his diapers is in need of stripping already and more "presko time" for him.

I was initially using petroleum jelly for his diaper rash but of continued use, I noticed that the inner layer is already not that absorbent to pee that it has been leaking already, thats why I resorted to stripping. After stripping some of his diapers, I thought I need to look for another diaper cream which will work great with cloth diapers.

Then I found the nappy cream from the brand Human Heart Nature. This brand has been continuously introducing different products in the market as well as improving their formula to better cater the needs of their customers. Eversince they introduced their products, I noticed their addition of products from skin care, baby care and even laundry!

Human Heart Nature's diaper cream claim that its 100% natural which contains zinc oxide, coconut oil and vitamin E. All natural ingredients to keep the skin moist, nourished and protected from diaper rash.

Instructions for use: Apply thinly on baby's dry bum every after diaper change. Make sure to only apply thinly so the product will not stick to the lining of the cloth diaper.

What I like about it:

  • I believe this product has only one size and contains 50g in a glass jar. A little goes a long way for this.
  • Packaging is impressive coming from a local brand.
  • It doesn't also have a strong smell so it is safe for those who have sensitive nose like me.
  • The ingredients are natural. No harm of untoward allergies.

What I don't like about it:
  • The formula is quite sticky that others may find it hard to apply.

Ingredients: Castor seed oil, Hydrogenated castor oil, coconut oil, zinc oxide, beeswax, glyceryl caprylate, Vitamin E

Price: P275, available at leading grocery stores and Human Heart Nature dealers nationwide

Verdict: It really is true to its claim. My son's diaper rash subsides within two hours after application. There is no need to reapply anymore. Now, we only use it occasionally o at bedtime only.

This is a highly recommended product especially for those who are into cloth diapers.
