Let me tell you a secret. I had my last facial five years ago before I learned I was pregnant with my now talkative four-year-old son. After that, the only way to pamper myself was to get my nails done. Prior to my pregnancy stage, I used to get facial treatments every two weeks. That’s how I am particular to my face.
Few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to review a facial product, which is a non-invasive way to have a botox treatment. Unlike others, I don’t want anything invasive given that I am scared of needles to take care of my skin.
Then after that long time, this product found its way on me. I was very humbled that I was given the opportunity to try this out. Very timely for a mom like me who doesn’t have the time to get a facial treatment whenever I want.
Nature Essentials is a natural way taking care and keeping your skin healthy with the use of natural ingredients. Here, I specifically tried the Nature Essentials Elixir Set, which is an anti-aging and detoxifying set.
Nature Essentials Algae Soap 90g. Tightening, Firming Rejuvenating which dissolves makeup, and helps to remove impurities and pollutants. Moisturizes and supports anti-oxidant activity. Help to stimulate the skin's natural renewal process. Instantly plumps, tightens and brightens skin.
This soap is not irritating to the skin and moderately lathers when used. It is not the usual soap also that easily ran out despite using it twice a day to wash my face. I must say it has a value for money.
Nature Essentials Elixir Mask. 40g. The beneficial properties of the two main ingredients found in this purifying mask are seemingly endless - both the kelp (seaweed) and the algae (Spirulina) deliver some of the sea's most nutritive skin enhancing benefits. It has a high content of amino acids and it's rich in vitamins and minerals. It is an effective anti aging face mask with antioxidants and beta-carotene that regenerate skin cells and revitalize and firm skin.
This mask is a clear sticky liquid that you need to apply all over the face. It is so sticky that is enough to tighten the skin when it dries. When the sticky liquid is washed off, you will feel that the skin is tightened and feeling fresh.
Nature Essentials Elixir Serum. (20ml) This highly concentrated, precious Serum contains 70% Apple Regenerating Essence and 20% Matrixyl 3000 Peptide offers the secret of longevity of this extraordinary ingredient to the driest and most demanding skin. Day after day, your skin regains its strength, the shape of your face is gradually redefined, wrinkles and fine lines are smoothed, - 200x Potent, regenerating, whitening and soothing elixir.
The bottle comes with a dropper so that the serum can be dropped on your face and uses your fingers to spread out evenly on your face. The serum is quite runny and you will only need few drops to cover the entire face. When applied all over the face and neck, you will feel a little pricking sensation, but after weeks of using it, I no longer feel it.
Overall, I like the whole set and has tightened my pores on my nose making my whiteheads not visible anymore. Few lines on my forehead were also not visible. My skin is smooth and feels fresh all day long.
Here are my few recommendations on this product:
Packaging. While I am the minimalist type of person who doesn’t like the extravagant packaging on a product, it however brings impact on consumers how well you present the product. Given that the price is one notch ahead from the commercial beauty products in the market.
Welcome Note/Instructions. The products were nicely labeled with all the identifications. However, if it is a set, at least it should have a step-by-step process on how a consumer must use it. It is also a plus when there is a small personal note containing the steps on how to use the products as a sign of welcome as a new user of the products.
