Enjoy the latest deals this Christmas on BDO Pay

'Tis the season to be shopping to avoid the Christmas rush! Thanks to the convenience of shopping totally cashless and cardless through the BDO Pay app, shopping for Christmas gifts will have a different kind of rush, not the frenetic kind. BDO Pay, through its Scan to Pay feature, minimizes the hassle in paying for transactions by linking the shopper’s BDO Savings Account, Checking Account or Credit Card with the mobile app. This eliminates the need for 'loading up' their e-wallet account and spending for transfer fees, making purchases faster, easier, and more secure. 48 Photos : Week 1 Sultry Self-Portrait

48 photos for the whole year sounds fun and I must say a great challenge for me as well. This year I have committed a challenge and joined 48 photos Kim of Mom On Duty and Camille of Lollies And Lipsticks Challenge. I am not good in taking photos for one, I don’t know technical terms with regards to SLRs and I can only take photos if someone (Boboy) sets the right mode for me, other than that no more! He has been teaching me how to use manual mode all the time but I keep forgetting it too!

For the self – portrait, ever since I thought of having a solitude concept but when I became a mom, I was already lost in the modeling world.  Today’s portrait is a mixture of sultry and solitude concept. But because my kind of idea was so hard to pull off alone, I had to ask for a back up. We set up our room and placed a dark backdrop with improvised LED lights to serve as a catch light. I am not good in lighting as well I only know well the feeling of posing in front of cameras and seeing too many halos from the lights that surrounds me. For my make up, I made a smokey eye and nude lipstick for my sultry look.

Here is my sultry and solitude portrait.

Photo taken with Nikon D7000 and 85mm lens.
It was also PP due to some unnecessary shadows on my face.

Here is the list of the concepts for the 48 photos challenge.

Let me know what you think and I will see you again in the next photo on Friday!
